☘️ Think Outside The Cup - Help Clover Coffee Build Its First Permanent Cafe! ☕
Clover Coffee is Ohio’s home-grown, mission-driven, non-profit pop-up coffee shop. Since our first event in 2023, we’ve served thousands of customers at pop-ups and community events all across Columbus. We’ve built real momentum through steady presence and deep local ties. Our team has staffed neighborhood markets, partnered with local schools and corporations, and brewed alongside some of Central Ohio’s best.
We’ve proven this model works and now we’re asking for your help to pour our next cup in a permanent location that will allow us to grow our team, expand our menu, and strengthen our connection to the community that has already shown strong support to our employees and our mission.
To make this happen, we’re raising $60,000 to open Clover Coffee’s first brick-and-mortar café. This space will create stable, meaningful jobs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serve top-tier coffee from local roasters, and host inclusive events that bring people together.
That’s a lotta lattés so let’s break down where the money will be going:
- $30,000 - We are working with a local roaster who will provide store layout and design, equipment purchasing (i.e. espresso machine, blender, drip coffee brewer), menu creation, operation manuals, marketing materials, on-site training, as well as beginning inventory.
- $30,000 - Provides capital to acquire the cafe location and begin the buildout process.
Why It Matters
Currently 80% of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed — not because they lack ability, but because they’re often overlooked. At Clover Coffee, we’re working to change that, one cup at a time.
We’ve poured our hearts into this journey. With your help, we can take the next big step and build a lasting, inclusive space in the heart of our community.
