The Africa I Know, or TAIK, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to positively change the narrative about Africa by inspiring, informing, and educating young Africans, especially in Science, Technology, Endineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

This year, our founder and Princeton Assistant Professor in Computer Science Adji Bousso Dieng (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adji_Bousso_Dieng) started a campaign called "Éducation Pour Tous" ("Education For Everyone" in English) to send 1100 kids from villages and impoverished neighborhoods in Senegal to school for the first time. The campaign was funded by Prof. Dieng with more than 6 Million CFA. Next school year, TAIK aims to scale this campaign to the 10 African countries with the lowest school enrollment rate. In subsequent years, our goal is to scale this program across the continent. We strongly believe everyone deserves the gift of education.

We are raising 60 Million CFA (100K USD) to fund the next iteration of the campaign to 10 more African countries and we are counting on your generosity.
