Hi, I'm Cloe, and I'm 3 years old. I live in Quito, Ecuador, with my mom, my dad, and my baby brother. I love to play, dance ballet , and especially listen to music... although I can't always do it like other kids.

I was born with unilateral microtia, a condition that affects the formation of my outer ear and limits my ability to hear. Although I am a happy, curious, and energetic child, there are many beautiful sounds in the world—like my mom's lullabies or my little brother's laughter—that I still can't fully enjoy.

Our Struggle and a Golden Opportunity

When my mom was pregnant with me, we found out that my ear hadn't formed. It was a difficult time for my parents, but they've always told me they love me just the way I am and that they would do anything to help me.

Today, medicine has given me a unique opportunity to hear perfectly through specialized surgery. This operation will change my life forever!

‍⚕️ The Only Solution: Travel to the U.S.

Unfortunately, there isn't a specialist in Ecuador who can perform this type of procedure. That's why my family and I have to travel to the United States.

My surgery will be performed by Dr. Youssef Tahiri, one of the world's leading pediatric ear reconstruction surgeons. He will not only reconstruct my outer ear but also implant an internal bone conduction device that will allow me to hear perfectly.

With permission from Lili and her family, Emily will manage the funds temporarily before sending them all directly to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California, where the surgery will be performed in 2026.
