For those of you that know Clint, you know he is always keeping busy and working hard for his family. He has had many struggles in his life however this recent blow has been too hard for his family to endure. He was spending the afternoon like many others chopping firewood in his yard. In the blink of a moment, and a swing of the axe a piece of wood pierced his eye. He was rushed from Clearwater by ambulance to Vernon Hospital and underwent 2.5hrs of surgery only to find out that he will will now need to head down to Vancouver to see a specialist and undergo more surgery in hopes of saving his sight.
This injury is going to take several months to heal and with no insurance and no other household income I am not sure how they will make ends meet. They have young children and animals to look after and I hope that we as friends and family are able to step up and help them in their time of need. As you also all know, Clint would never ask a soul for help however being his sister I've seen him continually helping others over the years when he himself went without. Please share with others to help in any way possible.
