On April 26, our Cofense family member, Clint Ilagan, discovered that a huge fire was engulfing the neighborhood and spreading to his house. With only enough time to pick up his laptop and phone and run out the door with his family, everything else was left behind to the flames. We are thankful that his entire family (including his wife Hiyas and three children: Kline, Khloe, and Katia) escaped unharmed, and are currently lodged at an evacuation facility provided by the government. However, the process to recover and rebuild their lives will be long and costly.

Clint has been an incredibly valuable member of the Cofense Intelligence team for nearly a year and a half, always helping others out and volunteering to perform tasks that are outside his requirements. I'm asking you to do the same and go beyond to help Clint in the only way that many of us in other countries can.

I am thankful for the Philippines Cofense family, who have already begun pitching in to help Clint with necessities. Providing support from across the world is a little more complicated, however, because Gofundme does not support withdrawals in the Philippines. I will be receiving the funds and sending them directly to Clint via Paypal. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or contact me on Slack.

Please take a moment to think about what you would need in a crisis like this, and give so that the Ilagan family's needs will be met.
