Help Céline Rebuild After a Tragic House Fire
SITUATION:
On June 23rd in Elliot Lake, Ontario, while Céline was at work, she received a call that her house was ablaze. Unfortunately, little could be done, and she lost everything, but most devastatingly, her sweet dog Winston, a rescue Jack Russell was inside the home and died in the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown. The estimated damage could be around $300,000 to $350,000.
Céline is one of the most wonderful people you will ever meet -- she is kind, honest, and generous. She is the type of person who shows up for everyone but will never expect anything in return.
Céline has had a rough go since early 2020, suffering from burnout as a nurse and frontline worker, which has put a strain on her both financially and mentally. But, after rescuing her sweet Winston, things were turning around, and she was slowly regaining her stride.
We ask that you keep Céline in your thoughts, and if you have resources to spare, donate to cushion the devastating loss of her beloved Winston, her home, and all of her belongings. COVID has been draining on frontline and medical staff everywhere, including Céline, which is why she needs the support now more than ever.
I'm Céline's dear friend, Mercedes, and I wanted to set up this Go Fund Me because I know that Celine would never ask for anything, but she is so deserving of a helping hand.
