Help Cliff Heal After Emergency Heart Surgery — Support His Family During Recovery
Just a few weeks ago, our family experienced a frightening medical emergency that changed everything overnight.
My brother Cliff, a devoted husband and father of four, had to undergo emergency double bypass heart surgery after experiencing a heart attack. Doctors discovered severe blockages in his heart, and the only option was to have surgery immediately.
We are incredibly grateful the surgery was successful and that Cliff is still here with us.
But the road to recovery is long.
Doctors have told him he will need at minimum 12 weeks away from work in order to heal properly. Cliff works as a chef at a local country club, a physically demanding job that requires long hours on his feet. Returning too soon simply isn’t an option if he wants to recover safely.
Cliff is the sole provider for his family. His wife Yvonne stays home to care for their four children — Calissa, Caitlyn, Connor, and Colton. Like many families, they rely on Cliff’s income to cover everyday expenses.
While Cliff qualifies for FMLA, the time away from work means using up all of his sick time and vacation days during recovery. With medical bills, cardiac rehabilitation, and the normal costs of raising four kids, the financial strain is already beginning to build.
This fundraiser was created to help give Cliff the time he needs to heal without the overwhelming stress of how the bills will be paid.
Donations will help with:
• Medical bills from the surgery
• Cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy
• Mortgage, utilities, groceries, and household expenses
• Everyday needs for their four children
• Helping bridge the gap while Cliff is unable to work
Cliff has always been someone who works hard and takes care of others. Now he needs the support of his community while he focuses on healing and getting back to the family who needs him.
If you are able to donate, any amount truly helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this page is incredibly helpful and appreciated.
Our family is deeply grateful for every prayer, share, and act of kindness. Thank you for helping Cliff and his family through this difficult time.
