Help Cliff pay for hospital and funeral costs.

I am calling on our great Fish Family to help a family member in need. Cliff Whiting helped open the San Diego restaurant, back in 1989, as one of the opening bartenders at Top of the Market. He has been tending our bar ever since, welcoming familiar faces, and always having a quick joke ready.
Unfortunately he and his wife were recently hospitalized with COVID-19. He was able to come home, but she did not. We are raising funds to help Cliff through this unimaginable time, to help cover medical and funeral costs, so that he may have just a little bit less to worry about. Following are his words describing their life together:
I am not a man of any particular faith but I consider myself truly blessed.
For nineteen years I was married to Diane .
We met on a blind date thirty years ago .
My best friend then ( still my best friend now )
Had an associate in his firm that knew me , knew Diane and thought
We would be a good fit.
We were .
It was not Love at first sight,
But it was close .
We had Yo-yo days .
Some days are up , some days are down .
We were married in our backyard .
My still best friend performed the ceremony .
Food by Rubio’s .
Honeymoon was in Death Valley , Las Vegas , Grand Canyon ( South Rim )
And Laughlin .
Diane changed positions a few times over the years , usually
In HR, before she found her true calling .
Designer and Teacher of Adult Crafts (Beadwork , Purses and Jewelry ).
She taught at Bead Shows , Bead Societies , Bead Stores and Online .
She was Liked , Respected and Award winningly good ( several Times )
We were in the Hospital at the same time , both with COVID .
She was admitted a few days before I was .
I was released from the Hospital .
She stayed .
She passed away on Thursday February 18 at 5:57 am .
A few hours before , her Doctor called to let me know that she
Was not going to live much longer .
I asked if I could see her . He said yes .
I was Granted a great gift , I got to spend her last Two living hours by her side .
She passed without Pain .
I miss Diane more than I can properly express .
I see something or think of something and I turn to talk about it
With her, and well you know .
Good days , bad days, yo-yo days .
Days I cry , days that I do not (much )
I will be better , but not tomorrow .
This is going to be a long Process .
I miss my wife with all of my Heart .
