Cliff is an elderly man who lives alone in the home his grandparents built with their own hands. Over the years, the house has aged and lacks many of the modern comforts most of us take for granted. One thing I noticed was that Cliff always air dries his clothes, carefully planning around rainy days, cold snaps, and even the dust and pollen that can undo all his hard work. When I offered him an extra dryer I had, he was grateful, but explained that his home doesn’t have a 220 dryer outlet.

I reached out to my cousin, who is an electrician, and he kindly offered to install the outlet for free. However, the equipment and materials needed for the installation are still required. Cliff is a generous soul who volunteers at our local food bank, always giving his time to help others in need. Now, he could use a little help himself.
