Help Cliff and Cathy through this unforseen time
Donation protected
On Saturday December 29th, Cathy took Cliff to the medical clinic in Carleton Place. For flu like symptoms. The DR at the clinic told my mom to rush Cliff to CP hospital and the doctors and nurses were waiting for him. His oxygen levels were at 52%. They got him on oxygen right away, but they wouldn't stay up. They needed the levels to be at 95% for his levels to be stable. They called the Queensway Carleton Hospital. The Docs there told them to transport him down. The doctors in CP were trying to stabilize him before sending him in the ambulance. It took awhile but they finally got him in the ambulance. Cliff took a turn for the worse in the ambulance. It was a fight to keep him alive apparently.
By the time we (immediate family) got to the hospital. Cliff was in ICU and on life support. Fighting for his life. Which we were scared to death he wasn't going to make it through the night. Thank God he did. Our family would not be the same without him. Since Saturday he has progressed slowly and the doctors are very hopeful as are we. However he is still on life support and in ICU. It's going to be a long slow road to get him back on his feet and running his business again. Cliff is an amazing man who has raised two kids like they were his own. He is Pop to all of our children and they all love him dearly. He helps people where and whenever he can in the community. From building Churches to giving his time and effort to the less fortunate. He's all n all a beautiful man. Salt of the earth as they would say. We are asking for any kind of donation to help them out. So Cathy can be with him in the hospital. So they can pay there bills while he is healing and getting stronger so eventually he can return to work. Where he loves to be. Busy working and helping others. Please keep my parents in your prayers. This all started from influenza A ( h1n1) So please don't forget to get your flu shot. I would hate to see anyone else in this same boat. He's a very strong and healthy man. And this is what it did to him.
Any help for my family would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and donation.
