Cleve, our beloved dog, is only 7 years old and has already overcome so much in his life. We rescued him from a dogfighting situation when he was just two, and since then, he’s become a loyal companion and a source of strength for our family. You may know him from Texas Metal and Ekstensive, where his story and spirit have touched many. Cleve is especially bonded with our older dog—they are inseparable, and their friendship has brought so much joy to our home. Just a week ago, Cleve was his happy, energetic self, always ready to play and protect those he loves.
Recently, we received the devastating news that Cleve has large cell B lymphoma. The change in him has been sudden and heartbreaking—he’s lost weight and isn’t himself. The vet told us that without treatment, Cleve has less than a month left. With chemotherapy, he could have over a year of good quality life. We’ve already spent a significant amount on emergency care and diagnostics to get him the help he needs. Tomorrow, he meets with an oncologist, and we’ve learned that chemotherapy offers the best chance for remission and more time together. The costs for his treatment are high, and we need to start as soon as possible to give Cleve the best shot at a longer, happier life.
We’re fighting for Cleve’s life and reaching out for help to cover the expenses of his chemotherapy and ongoing care. He deserves more time with his family and his best friend. Any support will go directly to his treatment and help us keep our family whole for as long as possible.
