Last night, my cat Cleo—my emotional support animal—suddenly began having trouble breathing. I rushed her to the emergency vet, where she received immediate care, but the costs quickly added up to thousands of dollars. As a college student, I simply don’t have the resources to cover such an unexpected expense. Today, Cleo’s condition worsened, and she had to be admitted overnight for monitoring and further tests. It’s been an incredibly stressful and emotional time, seeing her struggle and not knowing what the outcome will be.

Cleo means everything to me. I rescued her to help me through the challenges of transitioning to college, and she’s been my constant companion and source of comfort. Now, she needs help, and I’m reaching out to my community for support.
