Cleo was once a stray cat found by the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. I was immediately drawn to her affection when we first met in February 2021, and was so happy to bring her home to my apartment. She has been such a sweet loving playful girl. This move from Kansas City to California was a tough transition for her. Being as young as she is (3), she was fragile through all the sudden changes. Cleo has become ill with jaundice and has lost half her weight. She will have to have a feeding tube and will be admitted for at least a few nights in an animal hospital. I’m working full time and still don't have enough to pay up front for this operation. So, I am asking family, friends, friends of friends, good human beings, to please please help me to get Cleo back to full strength. She is only 3 years old, and has plenty of life to live. Every dollar will go to her operations and care to bring her back.
