This morning, Cleo is undergoing urgent, life-saving surgery — an intricate, delicate, and high-risk procedure that is her only chance at survival.

The initial emergency vet bill exceeded $700. Due to the seriousness of her injuries, she was transferred to a specialist veterinary hospital where an immediate $10,000 deposit was required in order to proceed with surgery. These costs are expected to rise significantly depending on the complexity of the procedure and the extent of her hospital stay, recovery, and ongoing care.

Anyone who knows Sarah and her family knows that Cleo is not “just a dog.” She is family. She is part of their daily life, their comfort, their laughter, their constant. She is deeply bonded to the children and woven into the heart of their home.
