Help Cleo Fight Cancer with Love and Care
My name is Stephanie & Moises, and we are reaching out with very heavy hearts. Our sweet dog, Cleo, has been by our side for the past 9 years. She isn’t just a pet—she’s been our best friend, travel buddy, comfort through PTSD, and a source of joy for everyone she’s met. Cleo has even volunteered at autism centers, where the kids adored her gentle, loving personality. She has given so much love to this world, and I want to give her the best care in return.
About a month ago, Cleo was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma, a type of cancer that affects the epithelial cells in her mouth. Her care plan (shown in the photo) includes palliative treatment to help slow down the spread and manage her pain. She’s on medications like NSAIDs for inflammation, bone-strengthening medicine, antibiotics, and oral pain medications. This plan will help her stay comfortable and enjoy more happy days—but it is expensive.
Right now, her prognosis is about 2–4 months with palliative care, and potentially longer with continued treatments like radiation or surgery. My goal is to give her the best quality of life possible in the time we have left.
I know times are hard for everyone, and asking for help isn’t easy. But even $1 would make a difference in helping cover Cleo’s treatments, medications, and vet visits.
Cleo has shown unconditional love to me and countless others. She deserves to live her remaining days surrounded by love and comfort, not pain. I am truly not ready to let go, and I want to do everything I can for her.
If you can help in any way—through a donation or by sharing this page—I would be forever grateful. Thank you for helping me fight for Cleo.
