Hi everyone,
Remember Clementine—my sweet foster dog who was with me for over a year before finally finding her forever family last month? Well, Clemmy could use a little more help to give her the storybook ending she deserves.
Clemmy is diabetic and, like many diabetic dogs, has developed cataracts that significantly impair her vision. The good news? There’s a surgery that can restore her sight and prevent cataracts from returning. The bad news? It’s expensive.
Her vision loss affects her daily life in a big way. And with many happy years still ahead of her, I believe she deserves to see her happy ending unfold, literally. She’s a playful, adventurous pup who lives for toys, balls, and outdoor fun. Things that are a lot harder to enjoy when you can’t see them.
Her new family is completely committed to managing her diabetes and giving her the best life possible, with or without her sight. But helping Clemmy regain her vision would be the ultimate gift. The final piece of her journey from rescue to truly thriving.
Clementine is under the care of Animal Eye Clinic of Spokane. She has had her consultation and undergone all the testing necessary to ensure she is a candidate for the lens replacement surgery. All funds raised will got directly to her adoptive pawrents to cover the cost of surgery, travel and hotels.
