I’m raising funds for my pet, Clementine, after being hit with unexpected veterinary bills and the need for ongoing care. Clementine means so much to me, and making sure she gets the treatment and support she needs is my top priority. She was shot by a pellet gun while she was in my yard, not on anyone else’s property, in our quiet neighborhood along the public walking path behind our townhouses, and it has been heartbreaking and shocking to go through. The injury was so severe that Clementine had to have her leg removed at the hip joint. I work full time and also have two part-time jobs, but even with all of that, I still can’t cover these expenses in the current economy. It’s been incredibly stressful trying to keep up while also doing everything I can for Clementine.

This has also left me living in fear, knowing that someone is injuring people’s animals in our quiet townhome community. What happened to Clementine has shaken my sense of safety, and it’s painful to know that other pets could be at risk too. The support from this fundraiser will go directly toward Clementine’s veterinary bills and continued care, so I can focus on helping her heal and stay as healthy as possible. Asking for help is not easy, but I’m reaching out because I want to give Clementine every chance to get the care she deserves.
