Help Clementine escape to safety and a fresh start

Help Clementine (not her real name) get a fresh start!

Our friend C has been experiencing homelessness, living in her car with her pets, for months. She recently moved into housing with her partner, but unfortunately has been faced with escalating threats from her partner that no longer make it safe for her to live there. Her old car has been damaged beyond repair and a new car will help her relocate to another city, escape the abuse she's experiencing, and move into secure housing (with family).

C has been working hard to get her life back in order- she's lined up multiple job interviews, gotten her pets in for spay/neuter appointments, and had temporary employment. But we all know how expensive cost of living is right now, and getting out of her current situation and into stable housing won't be possible without a little help from her community.

C deserves a place she and her beloved pets can feel safe, and a car will help her get there. If you can contribute even a few dollars, we can all pitch in and help her secure a working vehicle. (If you have leads on an inexpensive but functional car anywhere in Washington State, that would also be very helpful!)

Our goal is $5,000 to secure a working car. Any remaining funds will go to gas, repairs, and food/supplies for C and her pets. Please help her get a fresh start!
