Help Hamiltons with Medical & Funeral Expenses

Friends, Families, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
***UPDATE***
It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I share the news that Clegg Hamilton gained his wings yesterday, February 12, after a long fight against the COVID-19 virus that just never loosed its grip on his body.
Maggie and Lynn, along with their whole family, are devastated and just trying to figure out what to do next. Maggie posted this on Facebook:
Today is the worst day of my life. My heart is broken. My sweet daddy, Clegg Hamilton, went home to be with Jesus this afternoon. I’m devastated. We all are. Please pray for comfort as we move into this new and painful chapter.
I will update as learn more about how Clegg's life will be celebrated, but for now, I know that the Hamiltons will need help with funeral/memorial costs as well as medical bills and just general living expenses. If you can chip in any amount to help, that would be wonderful.
But also, please keep sending your prayers and thoughts, and thank you for all the donations, texts, messages, and cards; I know that they have sustained Maggie and Lynn as they kept vigil with Clegg, and they will continue to do so through this excruciating time.
You may also send sympathies to Maggie & Lynn Hamilton, PO Box 579, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
Thank you!

Lynn and Maggie are welcoming anyone who would like to, to reach out to share memories of times spent with Clegg, shared experiences you would like to recall, or if you just want to send positive energy his way. You may send them to: Clegg Hamilton , PO Box 579, Indian Trail, NC 28079. Maggie will read the mementos to Clegg when she visits each day, and they will all be collected for Clegg to enjoy when he gets home.
Thank you so much for your support of the Hamilton family during this difficult time. Your kindnesses, prayers, love, and generosity lift them up and keep them strong.
________
The Hamilton family has been struck hard by COVID-19. On Jan 8, 2021, Maggie Hamilton's birthday, her parents were both hospitalized and her grandmother was sick and confirmed positive with the virus.
Thankfully, Maggie's mom Lynn came home on Monday night (1/18) after 10 days in the hospital. We're so grateful for the care she received and that she is now able to finish healing at home.
Maggie's dear Nana has been quarantined at home with the virus. She had several rough days, but with Maggie, her dear granddaughter, to nurse her through, she is also doing well with her recovery.
Unfortunately, Maggie's dad, Clegg is in the ICU. His medical team has kept him mostly in a medically induced coma in hopes of helping his body rest and heal. He's suffered an episode of atrial fibrillation, as well as sepsis, an undetermined infection, and he is on a ventilator and has a feeding tube. Due to the strain of the the various medications they are using to try to manage the virus and all the havoc its wrecking on him, his kidneys are in danger, and he underwent his first round of dialysis on Tuesday (1/19). It was a risky step due to his weakened heart, but he survived it, which bodes well for future treatments. Clegg is listed as critical but stable now, after surviving about a week as critically unstable, and his medical team is "cautiously optimistic," but he has a long way to go. Please join us and/or continue offering up prayers and healing thoughts as often as you can. <3
Obviously, the Hamiltons are fighters, but you probably know them best as givers. They all give their whole hearts into everything they do, and they do so much for the community! Now, I hope you'll join me in giving to them. Clegg is the primary income-earner, but he is out of work and will be for the foreseeable future, as he has a long recovery ahead of him once he gets well enough to leave the hospital. They have medical bills piling up, as well as just regular bills and expenses, so anything we can do to help may take a little of the financial stress of them, so they concentrate on becoming well again. Any contribution is welcome! No amount is too small!

If you have any questions or have trouble with this site, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Thank you for considering ways you can help these dear friends of mine in any way you can during their time of great need. We are so grateful for the support.
Love, Heather
