Help Clayton Andrade Fight the Good Fight
Donation protected
Family and friends, while Claytons mom and dad sit at his bedside in ICU, I am reaching out to you for prayer and support during this most difficult time. The last phone call a parent wants to receive is that your child is being airlifted and fighting for his life. Early this Saturday morning, 3/25/23, Clay and his dog Boobie, were involved in a catastrophic car accident. By divine intervention, a complete stranger came upon Clay and called for help. He was in such critical condition, he had to be airlifted to the hospital. It was touch and go as the ER team worked quickly to stabilize him. With a broken neck, back and lacerations to his face and neck, his parents wept and prayed as they hopped on a plane states away to be with their baby boy. After many scans, tests and intubation, Clayton was made comfortably sedated as his brother and parents sat by his side to wait....
The last 48 hours have been a living nightmare. Besides the fact that Clay's in critical but stable condition, he has many challenges ahead of him in the days to come. We don't know a whole lot at this point except the medical team is optimistic that Clay will recover in due time. Unfortunately, Clay does not have medical insurance, his truck is totaled and he will have many physical challenges and months of PT.
By God's grace, Clay and his family know the Lord and are keeping a positive attitude as they wait in expectation and HOPE. We already have a praise! Boobie was found with some minor injuries but very much alive and well!
Clay holds an extremely special place in almost every heart he encounters. He is facing an extensive road to recovery and a "CVS receipt" sized list of medical expenses. While we know that everyone is battling their own curveballs in life, we would love your support in helping Clay and his family in any way that you feel called. We know that many of you are worried about Clay and we promise to post updates as they come.
Again, Clay's family is beyond grateful for all his amazing friends and family and for any help you can provide. No amount is too big or too small. Prayers, positive vibes, cards, video messages and contributing monetarily to this Go Fund Me, speak volumes and will be remembered forever.
Alternate ways to help are through, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, cash and checks are all welcome.
