Help Clay Johnson & the Hard Promises fund their debut Album

As you may know, we are Clay Johnson & the Hard Promises, a local and regional act from Spartanburg, SC. Today, we are coming to you to ask for help with funding the recording of our debut record.

For the last four years, we have been working, rehearsing, performing, and strengthening ourselves into a well-supported and well-enjoyed live act. After spending the last two years working our way into becoming a functioning and highly active regional touring band, we've now come to the point where it is necessary for us to ask for help in undergoing the very expensive and time-consuming process of funding, recording, releasing, and promoting our long overdue debut record.

As blue collar musicians who fund their own tours while also working full time jobs, or in my case, playing music full time to pay the bills, we don't entirely have much offer as a way of thanks for your kind and helpful donations, as just about all of our merch proceeds from shows go to helping fund our tours and help take care of us financially to ensure that we are able to keep doing what we do while still being able to take care of our own at home. However, we have done our best to put together a list of thank-you offerings for those of you have decided to help donate to our creative endeavors. It's not much, but as a way of thanks, we'd like to offer the gifts below based off of the following donation tiers:

Tier 1 ($1-$15): Your name listed in the liner notes of our debut record as one of the many who have helped finance this record.

Tier 2 ($16-$30): Above Tier + a CJ&HP sticker with a handwritten thank you note.

Tier 3 ($31-$60): Above Tiers + a Signed poster from one of our past shows.

Tier 4 ($61-$100): Above Tiers + a full band shoutout video on our Social Media pages along with a tag.

Tier 5 ($100-$299): Above Tiers + a signed and handwritten lyric sheet of a song of your choice.

Tier 6 ($300-$999): Above Tiers + we will name one of the next legs of our tour after you. (i.e. "The Jane Doe Leg of The American Folks Fall 2024 Tour)

Tier 7 ($1000+): Above Tiers + A private 1-hour solo acoustic performance at your home.

Tier 8 ($2000+): Above Tiers + A private 1-hour full-band acoustic performance at your house.

Tier 9 ($3000+): Above Tiers + I'll Come Clean your house and cook you and your friends your dinner of Choice and then play a 45min private acoustic set while you eat.

Tier 10 ($4000+): I'll name my damn first born child after you. Hell, i'll do whatever you want if you're trying to throw in that type of money.

So, while those things might not be much, we wanted to at least offer what incentive we could for the support. There will also be a video published on here along with our socials explaining both the reasoning why our goal is what it is, along with all incentives provided.

If you do decide to donate and would like to receive your gifts, we have a specific email set up that is attached to the contact for this fundrasier. Please send us an email there along with your name and how much you donated so that we can keep track of everything in a spreadsheet and also get ahold of all the necessary information so we can make sure you get your gifts.
