Help Claus Peter Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Our family is facing the unimaginable. Our brother, Claus Peter, only 48 years old, has been diagnosed with stage 4 gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that has metastasized to his liver.

He’s the oldest of three, our protector, our rock, and the one we’ve always turned to for strength. Now, he's the one who needs help, and we’re doing everything we can to support him in this fight for his life.

Diagnosed in September 2024

Claus was diagnosed with cancer in September 2024 and has been undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments for the past eight months.

He’s approached this battle with courage, determination, and the same spirit that’s always defined him. But even with that strength, this fight comes with challenges no one should face alone, especially the crushing cost of care.

Why We’re Asking for Help

We’re hoping to raise $150,000 to help cover:

    •    Ongoing medical treatments not fully covered by insurance

    •    Alternative therapies that could improve his chances of recovery

    •    Travel and lodging expenses for second opinions and out-of-state care

    •    A financial safety net in the event Claus is unable to work during treatment, as chemotherapy side effects can be unpredictable and physically demanding

We're also exploring treatment options abroad that may offer hope beyond what’s available locally.
