Hello Everyone, I am reaching out on behalf of my uncle Claudius St.Marthe of Girard Babonneau. Claudius is a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who always lends a helping hand when one is in need. However, today he is asking for your assistance to regain some stability in his life.

On Monday May 12th, 2025, Claudius was the unfortunate victim of mistaken identity and suffered multiple gunshot wounds about his body. One of the bullets struck his neck and fractured his spine, resulting in a burst compression fracture. This severe injury shattered the upper portion of his spine, with fragments entering the spinal canal causing him to become paralyzed.

Claudius is currently confined to bed rest to prevent further displacement and worsening of his condition.With this being said, Claudius will require surgery to help him regain some mobility in the lower portion of his body. However, there are major costs associated with it and he does not carry medical insurance. Subsequent to surgery, he will require a tailored brace for his back to assist with recovery along with a wheelchair and physical therapy.

To date, he has incurred $28,000 in medical expenses and the total cost of surgery along with recovery amounts to approximately $35,000.00. We therefore humbly seek your assistance to ease this financial strain.
