Hello, my name is Claudio L. Castellanos, and I’m reaching out for help in an incredibly difficult time. I'm currently facing a major challenge balancing rent, debt, and my education. I’m hoping to raise $3,500 to pay my rent and cover my school fees, so I can stay in my apartment and continue working toward my degree in Music Performance.
For the past year, I’ve been struggling to make ends meet while trying to save for my education. I work hard, but the cost of living and school fees has been overwhelming. I used to rely on FAFSA for financial aid, but last semester, I had to reduce my course load to part-time due to a difficult housing situation. I had to leave a living arrangement where I couldn’t even do basic things like wash my own clothes. It was a heartbreaking decision, but I thought it would be temporary.
Unfortunately, things have taken an even harder turn recently—I lost my job, and now I’m at risk of losing my apartment. I’m facing the very real possibility of not being able to afford my rent by next Sunday, and I need to pay my school fees by August 15th to enroll in classes for the upcoming semester. Without both, my dream of pursuing a degree in Music Performance, which I’ve worked so hard for, might slip away.
These funds will go directly toward:
$1,500 for rent so I can keep my home and avoid being evicted.
$2,000 for school fees to cover the outstanding balance and allow me to register for classes again.
I’ve always believed that with hard work and persistence, I can overcome challenges, but right now, I need support to make it through this tough period. I would be beyond grateful for any contribution, big or small, as every little bit brings me closer to stability and my goal of becoming a professional musician.
Thank you so much for reading my story, and for considering helping me during this critical time. Your generosity would mean the world to me and would make a huge difference in my life.
With gratitude,
Claudio
