Help Claudia Recover and Heal

Hello everyone, my name is Samantha and my mother is Claudia Ouwerkerk. In October my Mom was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. She went in for a double mastectomy in January, where they found that it turned into invasive breast cancer. There were slight complications with that surgery, which prompted a quick response for reconstruction. On February 10th, she went back in for reconstructive surgery where she had severe life threatening complications. She contracted a horrific virus with an extremely high mortality rate which led to a tissue destroying disease. My Momma is currently fighting for her life. My brother Cody and I now are dealing with 2 sick parents, one with a terminal illness and now the other one is critically ill. As a family we feel helpless in trying to get her through this. I know there is a large community rooting for my Mom, she is truly loved and adored by everyone she meets. She's been through way too much in the past couple of years. After just losing her son to suicide, she's now fighting to survive. This is all too much for one person to handle.

I am asking for donations to help support her in one of the few ways that we can, by helping to fund her medical expenses. She has an extremely long road to cover, if recovery is possible. It's months and months of surgeries, reconstruction and therapy. She will be in the hospital for the next foreseeable future. Anything you can do to help support my Momma at this time would be helpful. Whether it's by donations, sharing this page or sending her love and prayers. We need our Mom to make it.
