Help Claudia Chaves Heal

It has been nearly a year that our dear friend Claudia has been in Brazil on her long road to recovery from a complication of a surgical procedure that left her brain without oxygen for a prolonged period of time. Our love for Claudia is strong, and we all miss her bright smile and warm heart. Claudia is a pleaser, and her love for her husband, family, friends and their children has always been evident. Since moving to the US almost 30 years ago, she has worked so hard to enjoy the life she built with Eddy. We are all so saddened that Claudia, who spent her life caring for others, is not able to care for herself. She currently requires 24-hour care for all activities of daily living plus physical and occupational therapy to make her stronger.
