I was a stay-at-home mom for many years, dedicating myself to raising my children and caring for our home. When my husband asked for a divorce back in November, it turned my world upside down. I depended on him for support, and now, with nobody nearby to help, it’s been incredibly hard to find someone I trust to leave my kids with while I look for work. The news that my husband hired an attorney and wants to sell the home my kids were raised in has made this journey even more challenging, painful, and exhausting. I don’t have a single dime to hire an attorney to help me fight for what belongs to me and my kids.
