Support Clarkson Women's Rugby at Nationals

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well; all of us over here at Clarkson Women's Rugby are excited to announce that we were selected by National Collegiate Rugby to compete at the Collegiate Rugby Championships - National Sevens Tournament in Washington, DC on April 26 and 27th! After an awesome year of rugby, the team stands a good shot at competing for the Division III national championship in sevens!

In a true testament to the team's character, camaraderie, and talent on the rugby pitch, we've competed at high levels against very talented regional sides and have shown to be one of the best.

So with that, we need your help. The trip from the North Country to the Nation's Capital is set to put a significant financial strain on the team treasury to cover lodging, transportation, meals, and any incidentals that may occur on the trip. We are asking our friends, family, alumni, and supporters for any help to cover these expenses so we can showcase on the national stage what rugby here, not only at Clarkson, but for the whole North Country, is all about and why it is one of the best rugby scenes in the country. Any help will ensure that our athletes can travel and prepare to compete with the most optimal opportunity to bring pride to themselves, our club, and everyone that has ever taken the pitch at Clarkson and the North Country.

UPDATE, April 21st: Thank you everyone for support so far! For transparency, we wanted to let you all know we received guidance from the school that the club can not use a GoFundMe account; they can, however, receive a donation from a third party (such as my family) that sets up a GoFundMe in support of them. So with that, you'll notice the beneficiary has now changed from our club Treasurer to my wife. We love these ladies and we'll make sure the thoughtful donations you all have sent will get our girls down to get some hardware this weekend. Looking forward to the weekend, cheers yall!
