We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your prayers and support for the family of Clarito Marquez, a loving father and grandfather who passed away from a massive stroke in Melbourne.
Clarito came to Australia on a visitor visa to spend precious time with his family and celebrate the baptism and first birthday of his grandson. Tragically, on the night of October 13, he suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to Monash Hospital in Clayton. After hours of resuscitation at home, paramedics brought him to the hospital where he underwent emergency brain surgery. He stayed in the Intensive Care Unit for three weeks and was moved to palliative care and died peacefully last November 7, 2025.
Clarito and his wife were only meant to stay for two months and do not have health insurance. The cost of his hospital bill has mounted to $130,000 without the doctors and surgeon's fee and is placing a tremendous financial burden on the family, who are doing everything they can while going through this difficult time.
We are humbly asking for:
