My name is Carl Price and I’m trying my best to save my wife, Clarissa Price. Fourteen years ago, Clarissa and I met online, and from the start, she had an adorable little boy named Jacob. Jacob and I connected instantly, and over time, I became not just his stepdad, but simply his dad. Together, Clarissa and I built a family, welcoming our daughter Journey, who brought healing to our marriage, and then Jayda, a surprise gift who completed our family. We also suffered the heartbreaking loss of our stillborn baby, Jaiden, who is now our angel watching over us.

Clarissa has battled breast cancer twice and cervical cancer once. Now, she is fighting leukemia. The medical costs have pushed us into a financial crisis, especially since Clarissa just had surgery and is out of work recovering. Medicaid does not cover every medication she needs, and some treatments have been skipped because we simply cannot afford them. Her oncologist has told us that without the money for these treatments, Clarissa only has a few months left. We have appealed to the hospital for grants, but that process takes time—time we may not have.
