Help Clare in the wake of Eric’s passing
Donation protected
Eric Donati passed away early Saturday morning, leaving behind many who loved him, including his partner Clare and their dog, Ethel. Eric’s income helped pay their rent, bills, and Ethel’s expenses. Clare could use our help covering these costs as she learns to navigate life without him.
Eric was a ray of sunshine, a loving friend, and an incredible partner to Clare. He touched the lives of many who are missing him today. Clare has received lots of love and support from her community and the community that Eric fostered. She is so appreciative of everyone’s material and immaterial offerings. Many have asked if they can give her gifts or food, but Clare has expressed that this will be most helpful to her, and a big stress relief during this painful time.
Those who love Eric will remember him primarily as a fountain of joy and love, and his legacy also illustrates the insidious nature of addiction. Most days he found freedom from addiction through faith and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. Eric struggled with his addiction for years and was finally beginning to find peace and create a beautiful life for himself. He had a lot he was looking forward to, especially spending the rest of his life with Clare.
