Hello! My name is Emily Zack, I’m starting this fundraiser for my mom, Clara Zack.

My mom was diagnosed with a meningioma, and will undergo brain surgery to remove what they can. She will be in a rehabilitation center afterward to help regain the cognitive function she has lost due to the swelling and stress the tumor has caused to her brain. We won’t know for another couple weeks if the tumor is malignant and are unsure of what our futures hold at this point.

My mom is one of the strongest people I know. She has been through hell and high water over the last year, navigating her way through a huge life change, buying her first house, starting a new job, stressing through my little brother being hit by a drunk driver while he was riding his motorcycle, now last week being diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a lemon.
