Help Clara to pay her mom's hospital

Hello, my name is Jahda. Together with our community we are helping to raise funds for one my good friend’s mom, Edna. I will share with you her daughter words about what happened:

“My mom is my example of a warrior and the strongest woman I know, I've never seen her complain about life’s difficulties and she has been my rock and symbol of how to treat others.

On September 23rd in my home in Brazil, my mom suffered a severe ischemic stroke. She had to wait more than 6 hours in the public hospital and because of the late assistance and sending her home without proper treatment, she lost her ability to talk and the right side of her body is paralyzed. Whether these after-effects are reversible or not, is still unknown.

This has been the toughest time of our lives as a family. Being an only child, and my father being 78 years old living on his pension, I have struggled financially to support her with everything she needs for her recovery; all medical expenses, 24 hours nursing care, physiotherapy, phonoaudiologist, an electric hospital bed and two types of wheelchairs.

The current total cost for all these expenses is approximately $15,000, which I simply don't have.”

So it is with a humble heart that we ask for anything you can spare to help me pay for the above mentioned medical expenses that will hopefully see my mom back with her family walking and talking again. She is a strong woman and I know she is fighting through this. I want to do everything I can to give her the best chance. I hope with your help, I can keep doing that.”
