May 31st, 2025, North Salinas High School Sophomore, 16yo Clara Adams, competed in the California CIF (High School) State Finals, in Clovis, CA

Clara competed and won her 400M Final, with a time of 53.24 seconds. Beating the 2nd place finisher by more than a 1/4 of a second.

If the story ended there, Clara would have then competed for a 2nd State Championship of the day, in the 200M, 45 minutes later.

The CIF Officials not only disqualified Clara from the 400 meters, they also decided to DQ Clara from competing in the 200 meters.

The state championship being stripped away from Clara made National news covered by Fox News, CNN, New York Post, KSBW 8, KION 46 just to name a few.

Clara has been given the opportunity to compete at the U20 Nike Outdoor National Championships June 19-22 at the University of Oregon , Hayward Field.

Clara is currently a 4-Star Recruit and she's been working hard this year trying to earn her 5th star before getting ready for the college recruiting process.

We are asking for donations to cover the cost over the 1 week duration of our stay... Clara's team, Tezla Sports Academy, Youtuber/Camera man Macias712, Flights, Hotel, SUV Rental, Meals, etc.
