Dear Friends and Family

In the last couple of months my Dad’s health has deteriorated very quickly, his battle has been long with Alzheimer’s and sadly my Dad is not winning this battle. A couple of years ago we moved my Mum and Dad to a wonderful retirement center, and they have both been very happy there.

Dad’s condition has deteriorated to the point that he needs daily nursing care, he can no longer stand and needs help to get from his bed to his wheelchair, I do believe he is on his final stretch in many ways. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease that has taken his incredible mind and now is taking his mobility.

Unfortunately, my Dad’s savings are coming to an end and the monthly costs and medical bills are becoming larger, too big for Andy and I to cover. I’m reaching out on this GoFundMe to seek financial support for his long-term care with a goal to not only alleviate my Mum’s stress but to ensure they can both stay in a place where they are comfortable and is familiar.

Your support means the world to me and to my parents, we cannot thank you enough for all the prayers and kind words. My Dad truly was and is a one-of-a-kind man who changed the world in so many ways!
