Hi, we're Spence and Tricia, but more importantly, this is Claire:

Claire is an 11-month-old rescue. She's been with us since she was about 10 weeks old. She is sweet and playful, and everything you would expect from a happy puppy.

A few weeks ago, we noticed that Claire was peeing in her sleep without noticing it and waking up. After trying various things (making sure she went for a last walk later, picking up her water bowl an hour before bed) without it helping, yesterday we took her to the vet. After some bloodwork, we found that her kidneys are in extremely bad shape.

Between a sedated ultrasound, further blood work and testing, as well as ongoing prescription food and meds, we're looking at this costing us about $3,500 - $4,000 that we do not have over the coming months (and who knows how long she will need the special food and the meds which together are about $160 per month).

So... we're turning to the internet for help. If you are able to help us with this so we can help this dog live a long and happy life, we would be forever grateful. If you have the ability to donate, please do. If you can share with animal lovers in your circle of friends, that would also help. Any help we can get in paying these bills so we can make sure Claire stays healthy is appreciated.
