Help Claire Get Back On Her Feet

Our great friend, Claire, shared with us last week that she has hit a crisis.  In her own words:


“Over the last fourteen months, I’ve experienced multiple traumas, including helping to manage the Covid pandemic, a terrible wildfire that leveled 300 homes in our county, my toughest election campaign yet, and a horrible prolonged transphobic attack trigged by far right hate media that literally spread from coast to coast that brought an avalanche of hateful and sometimes threatening messages down upon my head.  Add to this some financial challenges and you had the recipe for what happened to me this past weekend. My car died Friday and this sent me into a very dark place of hopelessness and despair.”


There are so many things we can do nothing about, but friends, we can do something.  Claire has bought a car on credit, adding to her financial stress, and we can help her pay off that car.  Please, give as generously as you are able.  Claire has dedicated her life to helping us and now we have the honor and privilege to help her.
