Claire Edwards Klimowski is our beloved farrier who works tirelessly to make sure that our horses stay happy and healthy. She always shows up when we need her in a pinch and takes excellent care of our horses.
Claire has recently been battling an infection in her hand and is in the hospital on IV antibiotics after surgery. We know in her line of work, healthy hands are vital, and she needs to take some time off to recover. Like so many of us in the equestrian industry, our incomes are dependent on our bodies functioning correctly, and I am hoping we can help Claire to have some peace of mind while she heals.
Donations will go directly to Claire to help supplement her income while she is unable to work.
edit, Claire is now home from the hospital and receiving a six week course of antibiotics through a PICC line. During this time she’s not allowed to lift anything over 10 pounds and will be unable to work. Unfortunately, this is her only option outside of amputating a finger . Everyone’s support is hugely appreciated!
