Claire and Micah were in an automobile accident on August 17th when a truck ran a red light and hit them. Claire sustained the majority of the injuries as they were hit on her side of the vehicle: fractured pelvis, fractured ribs, fractured sternum, lacerated spleen, lacerated liver, and a punctured lung that required a chest tube. She had surgery to repair her pelvis and has been in a wheelchair and non-weight bearing. Claire was hospitalized for 2 weeks (first in ICU, then in a step-down unit), then was moved to a rehabilitation hospital for another 2 weeks. She is home recovering well and has started physical therapy. We thank God for this incredible blessing and continue to pray for her healing.

She will be unable to work for a few more months and has not had any income since September. They could use some help covering monthly living expenses during her recovery. If you could contribute whatever you can, it would be so appreciated.
