Dear family, friends, supporters,

We are very happy and proud to announce that our very own Claire (Beaty) qualified to compete in USA Olympics Trials in 2020 for swim in 200 breast stroke!!! Trials will take place in June 2020 in Nebraska to qualify for the summer Olympics in Japan.

Claire was raised in Novato and graduated from Novato High School. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cal State East Bay and becoming a 4-time All-American, Claire continued to compete. She is now a full time graduate student while working part time in the Athletics Department at East Bay.

Unfortunately, competitors, like Claire, do not receive financial support from any institution at this level. Many of you have been kind enough to ask how you could help or support Claire. It takes a village. Your donation will help cover her costs for airfare, food, entrance fees, transportation, and lodging for 8 days. Or a simple shout out and your well wishes are appreciated too.

The road has definitely not been easy, and Claire has worked so hard for so many years and deserves all the love and support and peace of mind going into competition. Thank you for your consideration in donating to her cause.
