Help C.J. realize his dreams of being a musician!

Hello, My name is C.J. Ward! I’m a 17 year old junior in high school and have been a musician for the past 5 years. Right now I play the guitar, bass, and keyboard. I play live music for Plano School of Rock, and I am writing my own music in my band Everyday People. My goal in life ever since I started playing music was to one day make a career out of it, and I’m getting to the point in my life where I need to start getting serious about that. Since I AM a junior, I’m looking at a lot of my options for college, and at the top of my list is Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. If you’re unaware, Berklee is the leading college in the nation for music education, perfect for someone like me! Due to its prestige, it’s not exactly the easiest college to get into, so I’m looking for ways to improve my talents and my resume to help my chances of getting accepted. Recently, I found out that Berklee offers a summer music education program where you go to the campus for about a month and get focused instruction from some of their professors. Overall, it would be an amazing experience for me and would more than likely give me the final push I need in order to get into a college like that. Now, what’s unfortunate is... it’s pretty darn expensive. Private colleges like that are private for a reason, you get your money’s worth no doubt, but it is a lot of money, money that I don’t quite have right now. But that’s where you can help me! I understand it’s not exactly the most noble cause, and it’s a lot of money to ask for, but I SINCERELY appreciate anyone who donates, music is my entire world and having people support me on my path means so much. The deadline for payment on this program is June 1st, so if I’m not able to raise enough money before then, the money from the campaign will go into buying new equipment, instruments, or a college fund. Thank you for reading, and thank you for donating if you can!
