Help CJ Overcome Financial Hurdles

My name is CJ, some of you know me online as thatfatguy. I’m 38 years old and helping to take care of my mother. On top of this, I’m also attempting to get on disability as my own body and mind are starting to fail me in many ways and as such I can’t hold a job. I’ve tried many times and my doctors have concluded that getting me on disability is the best option.

As everyone knows, disability is hard to get on and in the process, I’ve been denied twice. My lawyer is still willing to fight, but I’ve started having issues paying monthly bills and the like in this recent attempt. Especially since food stamps and other benefits have also been cut. It’s a “two steps forward, ten steps back” situation and it’s gotten to the unfortunate point where I need help.

All help will go towards paying our monthly bills, getting our car back up and running, and any other sudden expenses that may pop up. I’m also looking into further options so this gofundme isn’t a long-term/permanent deal. At most, I’m looking for maybe 2-3 months of help while continuing the fight.
