Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of our beloved Denise, who recently passed away, leaving behind her husband, CJ, and their two children. For 26 years, Denise devoted her life to caring for others as a nurse. She wasn’t just doing a job—she was a source of comfort, strength, and compassion to countless people in her community. She gave so much of herself to others, and the impact she made will never be forgotten. Now, the people she loved most are facing life without her.

CJ is not only a devoted husband and father—he is a constant presence in his children’s lives and in the community. He coaches their baseball and football teams, shows up for others, and has always been the kind of person people can count on. Today, he is doing everything he can to hold his family together while helping his children navigate the unimaginable loss of their mom. At the same time, CJ is facing overwhelming and unexpected challenges. Because their home was in Denise’s name, there is a real risk that he and the kids could lose the house they’ve grown up in—the place filled with memories of her love, laughter, and life. No family should have to face this kind of uncertainty while grieving such a profound loss.
