Hello Family & Friends,

As I was taking care of my grandson during CJ and Sam’s bachelor/bachelorette weekend, the flooding in Milwaukee on 8/9/25 left feelings of helplessness.

Watching the kids maneuver through this situation, shows a new found resilience and strength. They live in a no flood zone without flood insurance leaving them financially burdened.

Not only was the water heater, washer/dryer and furnace (update 8/13/25-furnace repaired w/o needing replacement-AMEN), carpet, baseboards, drywall needing replacement, they lost furniture and other items in a recreation room, spare bedroom, bathroom and laundry/storage space. The irreplaceable childhood memory items submerged under water mixed with sewage also has been lost.

We know this will not cover all costs but will assist the financial burden, especially with their nuptials coming up this year.

Praise God for keeping their family safe and prayers for the Milwaukee community during this time of need.
