Hi everyone, my name is Citra, and I’m reaching out for your support as I try to escape years of trauma and abuse, rebuild my life, and find safety.

For over 20 years, I’ve endured abuse at the hands of my family and close ones. Ever since I was a child, I faced constant physical and emotional torment from my family, and my cries for help were silenced to "protect the family’s reputation." Growing up as an Indonesian, I’ve also faced systemic barriers in seeking justice for the abuse I endured from others outside my home.

The abuse worsened when I returned to my family home after graduating university, and it became impossible to feel safe. I’ve been gaslighted, locked away, and left unprotected. Recently, my family has even threatened legal action against me for speaking out about what I’ve suffered.

I need your help to leave this dangerous situation, seek safety in Germany, and rebuild my life from the ground up. I’ve researched a path to restart my life through the Ausbildung vocational program in Germany, where I can finally be safe and independent.

However, I can’t do this alone. The costs of escaping and starting over are overwhelming:

Living expenses for 3 months: €750

Visa and passport fees: €120

Language certification: €1,250

Plane ticket: €1,000

My total goal is €3,120. Every euro donated will help me get closer to freedom, safety, and healing.
