Hi everyone this is my 2 year old Dalmatian Citgo! Citgo has a genetic condition where his blood type and bladder make up is different than other dog breeds. He cannot properly breakdown uric acid which forms in the blood, as well as in the bladder. This lack of breakdown forms, uric acid stones in his bladder, which over time if left undiagnosed or treated causes blockage and he is unable to void properly if at all. today on 9-17-24, I had to rush him to the emergency room because he was no longer urinating properly. Veterinarian located two stones in his urethra he needs to have surgery performed to remove them. Citgo goes into surgery tomorrow morning, and I am just looking for a little help affording his procedure. The current total is $4500. Anything you give is greatly appreciated as I understand the times we live in is already making it hard enough to survive. He is a beloved pet to my 5 children who love on him daily and would be totally heartbroken if we had to put him to sleep due to something that could be fixed. He has such a long life to live and I'd be in complete despair if I took his life from him. God bless each and everyone of you who are able to give and those who desire to give but could not. Warm regards from Citgo's mommy.❤️
