Help Cissi Get Life Saving Surgery

UPDATE: We met our initial goal and managed to get Cissi the surgery she needed, however due to post-op complications, she needed to be hospitalized for a week which racked up the bills once more.

Cissi is in need of an urgent life-saving surgery. She has a gallbladder mucocele, which is a time bomb. Her gallbladder could rupture at any moment, causing fatal consequences.

I met Cissi a year and a half ago when she was nothing but a bag of bones and a handful of hair (literally). She was severely underweight, covered in wounds and scars, had lost all of her hair, and could barely walk.

I knew she had to come home to me when I saw on Facebook, and I knew it would be a tough road to get her back to 'normal'. I could never imagine the challenges I would face when I brought her home. She needed weekly medicated baths, a long list of daily medicines, and so much time and affection.

She started to heal, slowly but surely, but her Cushing's syndrome that was left unchecked caused some near-permanent damage that we are still trying to repair.

Even though my mission as a foster parent is to get the dogs adopted and foster the next one, Cissi is one of the dogs I would adopt without a second doubt if I could afford her care.

I'm trying to fundraise for my sweet girl so that she can continue living her life as if no medical neglect has been thrust upon her.

Please help me keep her alive, safe, and loved. I can't imagine losing her to something preventable. Every day she doesn't receive this surgery is a day we get closer to losing her, and she doesn't deserve to go this way. I need her to channel the tiny bit of Chihuahua she is and live forever despite all odds.

Help me make those odds for her.
