Hello friends, family, and strangers:

I am starting this page today for a special someone in my life, my little fur baby, Ciruela. At the beginning of 2025 I got her diagnosis of mammary cancer and it has been an ongoing struggle. There was not much to be done medically because she is too fragile for surgery and other harsh treatments and unfortunately it has spread rapidly into her lungs. I have spent the last 13 years putting Ciruela and her best friend, Toro, before myself. We lost Toro last year suddenly due to a heart attack and I could not properly prepare for that which left me in a downward spiral mentally.

Shortly after that Ciruela’s health rapidly declined. A part of me does not want to accept this as my reality, that soon I won’t have both of them with me.

Both Ciruela and Toro have been my best friends these last 13 years. They’ve been with me through all my struggles of life. I am grateful to call them my best friends, my fur babies. They have shown me true happiness. They always brought joy to my life and to people who had the pleasure of meeting them. She’s been a strong girl for these last couple of months but it is time to me to be strong for her. I love Ciruela very much and I know she’s is ready to see her hubby, Toro in heaven.

We are preparing for her passing as she has been in a lot more pain these past few weeks and as a dog mom I have to make the hardest decision of my life to help her cross the rainbow bridge. I am looking to have her spend her last moments as comfortable as possible and in order to ensure that is possible, we are looking to have her services be provided at home.
