My name is Cindy Johnson, and I’m reaching out because my family and I are facing one of the hardest times of our lives. We moved to Missouri, and then our house burned down, and we lost everything just over a year ago. That started a series of bad turns. We tried to start over, but things haven’t worked out as we hoped. Our car broke down, and then both my daughter and I got COVID. Missing work while we recovered left us completely broke, and we’ve run out of options. I’ve walked, waited for rides, used Uber, and even slept at work just to keep going, but it hasn’t been enough.

Now, our only option is to get back home and stay with family while we try to put our lives back together. But we need help to make that happen. The funds raised will help us pay for a ride, gas, and food so we can move ourselves and our pets back home. This support will give us a chance to start over and rebuild.
