Hello, my name is Cindy. I have found myself in a financial crisis. First, I'm retired, however I was working part time to supplement my SS. It started with a torn meniscus in my right knee. Had therapy, then was scheduled for surgery. Had to leave my Walmart job. Fast forward 4 months without surgery when suddenly I had pain in my right hip and leg. Surgery on knee was cancelled. The pain got worse and I have been to the ER 3 times. Excurating pain, cant hardly walk. Leg is on fire, muscle spasms, you name it. I have a pinched nerve in my Lumbar. So my L4, and L5 are compressed. Lots of doctor visits, and copays. Not to mention ER Hospital bills. Now I'm looking at lumbar surgery this month.

If this wasn't bad enough, I had to buy a battery for my car, then find out I also needed a alternator. I find myself now not able to pay my rent, phone bill or Hospital copay for the surgery. This has been really hard to stay positive and not give up. It's hard for me because I usually am strong and do things for myself. I had to pawn some jewelry and sell some furniture but it is not enough.
